Davies promotes Dhara Patel to CEO of its North American business division as it continues to drive technology and solution expansion in the region

SARASOTA, US – 12 March 2025 – Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology company serving insurance and highly regulated markets, today announced the promotion of Dhara Patel to CEO of Davies North America.  

Dhara steps up to the role succeeding Davies’ senior executive, Matt Button, who was promoted to Group Deputy CEO earlier this year. In her new role, Dhara will lead Davies’ operations and sales teams across the U.S. and Canada, responsible for annual revenues of nearly $500m.  

Davies’ North American operations include end-to-end claims administration, as well as actuarial and risk management services for insurers, brokers, MGAs, Lloyd’s Syndicates, Captives, Corporates and the Public Sector. Dhara will be responsible for client service and will be maintaining plans to expand capabilities and solutions within North America.  

Alongside Matt and Group CEO, Dan Saulter, Dhara will also lead the delivery and implementation of Davies’ suite of agentic AI technology across its claims processing platforms aimed at driving efficiency and value for clients in North America.  

Throughout a 25-year career in the insurance claims and professional services industry, Dhara has held multiple senior executive leadership positions including as Services Segment President at Brown & Brown and has served as President of the International Association of Claims Professionals (IACP) between 2022 and 2023. She joined Davies in 2023 following Davies’ acquisition of ACM, USIS, PGCS and ICA.

The news follows the firm’s recent unveiling of its Vision-2030 strategy, overseen by Group CEO, Dan Saulter with the aim of growing annual global revenues to £2.5-3.0 billion over the next five years. The strategy encompasses the firm’s investment across four central pillars: technology & AI; organic growth & cross-selling, geographical & solution expansion; and operational excellence.
